In fall 2018, the High School for Media and Communications partnered with the Lincoln Center Film Society to teach students the genre of silent films. Four Teaching Artists collaborated with English/ENL teachers Ms. Brock, Ms. Persaud, and Ms. Zulfikar to teach students how to create silent films as a part of Media's English curriculum. As a result of this partnership, Media students creatively used the tools and techniques they learned to produce 16 wonderful short silent films. Students screened their films at the Film Society of Lincoln Center-Walter Reade Theater on February 1, 2019.
Congratulations, Media scholars! We are so proud of you!
